SOLD This Katsina Chiropractor Two Clowns figurine is ready to join your collection . The artist carved it from wood and hand painted it. The figures' hats feature plant fiber tassels. The back one holds the hat tassels while doing chiropractic adjustments. The two Clowns wear black and white striped outfits and boot style moccasins. The artist signed the bottom 'Koshare'.Katsinas (or Kachinas) are supernatural beings in the Pueblo Indian traditions. The Pueblo create Katsina dolls to give to children. Children use them to learn about the various Katsinas and not to play with. The Clown plays tricks and satirizes Hopi life by acting out and exaggerating improper behavior. This Katsina Chiropractor Two Clowns figurine stands just about 10" high x 8.5" wide. This figurine came from a collection so you will see slight signs of wear. One of a Kind!
