In the late 1800s, Native American crafters created beautiful items with raised beadwork. Our Antique Iroquois Purse features nearly intact beadwork. The floral design uses clear red, pink, turquoise, yellow, amber, white, opal, and clear green pony beads. Some of the sequins are also intact.This Iroquois Purse features a velveteen main section. Cotton fabric lines the insideof the purse. Silk ribbon is sewn to the edges and makes the handle. The silk ribbon handle is worn and loose on one side.
