Vintage Braintanned Deerskin Beaded Gauntlets

These vintage Beaded Gauntlets are ready to join your collection! The artisan used Braintanned Deerskin Leather to make them. He or she used Seed Beads in Turquoise, Clear,  Orange, Red, Transparent Red, Cobalt Blue, Transparent Green, Transparent Light Blue, Transparent Navy,  Cheyenne Pink, Greasy Yellow and Mustard to create the floral designs on the cuffs and back of the hands.   The artist attached 3" of Braintanned Deerskin Leather Fringe to the outside of the cuffs.  Tan fabric  lines the inside of the cuffs.
Western Show actors often wear these type of gloves in shows or parades. A previous owner wore these gloves so you will see soiling on them. There is no bead loss.  There are tears on the wrist and thumb of the left Gauntlet. You will see evidence that they have been wet. These Gauntlets  will make a nice addition to your beadwork collection. We do not recommend wearing them as they are fragile. They measure 15.5" long. The cuff measures 7.5" at the widest point. The wrist measures 4.5" wide.  One of a Kind!
