Don't miss this Quilled Birchbark Container by Northwest Territories artist Celine Edda! The artist made this mini Birchbark container with a cover. She created a quilled botanical design (pussywillows?) on the cover. The artist used spruce root to hold it together. A bent spruce branch stabilizes the top opening. The cover is attached to the container with a piece of Deerskin Leather Lacing. More Lacing serves as ties to hold the cover closed and as a carrying handle. On the bottom you will see 'Celine Edda Ft Liard NT' written in ink.This Container stands 3″ tall with the cover on. It measures 2.75" in diameter. This piece came from a collection. It is in excellent, like new condition. Use it for storage or display. One of a Kind!
