Bow & Quiver Case Crow Style

This Crow Style Bow & Quiver case features colorful Beadwork and real Otter Fur.  The crafter was inspired by 19th century Crow Beadwork.  She made the Quiver and Bow case from Otter Fur.  It has a stabilizing dowel along the top.  At the bottom of each piece, she attached a red wool panel and covered it with Beadwork.  10" long Otter Fur tassels hang from the bottom.  At the open ends a 15" long fully beaded flap hangs with 16.5" long Otter Fur tassels at the bottom of each.  The Bow Case measures 31" long x 6" wide, not including the Fur Fringe.
The crafter attached both cases to a 53" long strap.  The crafter used Red wool decorated with White Pony Beads for the front and lined the back with a white canvas-like fabric.  She attached more Otter Fur to the front of the strap and added two Otter Fur tassels with Beaded Cuffs.  The crafter used Reproduction Cheyenne Pink, Crow Pale Blue and Cobalt Blue along with White, Yellow and Green Seed Beads for the Beadwork.
This Bow & Quiver Case comes with a handmade Bow and five Arrows.  The crafter wrapped the Bow with Imitation Braintanned Deerskin Leather and added an Imitation Sinew string. The Arrows feature real Turkey Feather fletchings and reproduction stone Arrowheads, all attached with Imitation Sinew.  They are for show only, not usable.
