SOLD This Small Quilled Birchbark Box features Porcupine Quill designs on the sides and lid. The crafter attached a band of Sweetgrass around the edges. The quillwork design includes a beaver and a floral design. Some of the quills are damaged or missing on the sides of the box.Birchbark containers are traditional containers made from the bark of birch trees. They are typically used by Indigenous people in North America for storing and transporting food, clothing, and other items. This Container stands 2″ tall. The bottom measures 5″ x 3.5″. This basket came from a collection. It is in like new condition. One of a Kind!
