This cylindrical Birch Bark Box will add decorative storage to your home! Sturdy natural fibers hold this heavy birch bark together. It also holds a birch bark panel to the side. Real Moose hair tufts form a daisy pattern on the panel. The lid ties in place with Deerskin Leather Lacing.The Birch Bark Box comes to us from Northern Ontario. The artist signed the inside of the lid D Metchooyeah 96 (maybe artist Dolly Metchooyeah?).
You will see a crease in the bottom of the box. This should not affect the appeal of the box.
Though a previous owner used this box, it remains in very good condition. You will see minor loss of the moose hair tufting.
This cylindrical box stands 9.5" tall. The top diameter is 5.5".
