Beaded Enamelware Cup

Beaded Enamelware Cup

You won't find a Reproduction Beaded Enamelware Cup like this anywhere else!  The crafter patterned it after beaded items that Native Americans made around the turn of the 20th century.  After he covered the enamel cup with Deerskin Leather, the crafter covered the Leather with a red Pigment Paint.  The color has faded to a salmon-like color.  The original Red remains visible along the edge and the seam at the handle.   The crafter added Lazy Stitch beadwork in White, Cheyenne Pink, Clear Red, Crow Pale Blue and Cobalt Blue in geometric designs.
The previous owner treated this Beaded Enamel Cup so it looks old.   You will see several spots where the Enamel has chipped or rubbed off the cup.  Otherwise this Beaded Cup remains in very good condition. We recommend that you put it on display or use it to hold light, dry items.
The Cup measures 2.5" tall. The top opening measures 3.25" in diameter.
