Basket Mini Pack
Crafters from the native tribes of the Northeast originally made pack baskets to carry items while hunting, fishing, traveling and foraging by foot or by canoe. They handmade this antique mini pack basket with natural colored split ash and a double wrapped rim finish. The basket maker put two holes in the back to attach the leather carrying strap. The strap is somewhat fragile, however one side of the strap is still attached . The basket has some discoloration on the bottom but it is still in very good condition.The opening of the basket measure 8" x 4' and stands 9" tall.
