Penobscot Barrel Basket with Round Braided Sweetgrass Handles
Penobscot Barrel Shaped basket comes from Maine. This vintage Penobscot Barrel Basket is made of braided sweetgrass woven with natural, orange and brown ash splints. It has round braided handles made of sweetgrass, the rim is adorned with unbraided sweetgrass. This Penobscot Barrel Basket is in excellent condition, with few ash breaks at the bottom of the basket.
This unique Penobscot Barrel basket measures 12" tall and 9" in diameter.
