Bandoleer (or Bandolier) Bags originated in the mid 1800s among the Native American Tribes of the Great Lakes and Plains regions. They often decorate these shoulder bags with extensive beadwork. These Bandolier Bags took on ceremonial significance, and sometimes had no storage pocket at all, just a decorated flap.
The pouch section measures 10 inches x 12 inches.  The strap measures 27 inches long and 4 inches wide.  This Bandolier Bag Embellished came from a collection.  It does show signs of wear.  It is in good, usable condition.  One of a Kind!
