Ball Club Plain Knot Head
This Ball Club is unusual because the crafter carved the Ball part from a knot in the wood. This allows you to see the tree rings in the bottom and top of the Ball. Because he carved it from a knot, the Ball is not very round, but has flat sides. The crafter found inspiration for this club in the historic King Philip War Club.The handle is flat on the inside and carved almost to an edge on the outside. The end of the handle has a small bump out. The crafter left the Club unfinished so you can add your own polyurethane, stain, paint or carvings.
The Club measures 20" long. The ball end measures 13" in circumference vertically. The artist carved this Club from a single piece of wood.
