Antler Roach Spreader Two Socket

Two Socket Antler Roach Spreader with Ribbons

SOLD  This vintage two-socket antler roach spreader is a striking example of Northern Plains Style craftsmanship. Made from elk antler, the spreader is wide and sturdy, designed to provide both function and artistry. Its elaborate cut-out design immediately draws the eye, with the interior of the cut-outs painted in bold red and black tones that add depth and contrast to the natural antler.
The sockets, crafted from deer antler, complement the elk antler body and reflect the traditional blending of materials. While the piece has aged gracefully, it carries a small mark of history—one of the bottom lobes was lost many years ago. This detail adds to its vintage character, reminding us of its long life and use.
For tying, the spreader comes with a brain-tanned leather lace, offering both strength and authenticity. A red, white, and blue ribbon adorns the piece, hanging from the back to add a touch of color and movement when worn. This piece is ideal for collectors, dancers, or anyone who appreciates the craftsmanship and tradition embodied in Native-inspired regalia.
