9 inch Traditional Ash Basket
This Vintage handmade Traditional Ash Basket has kept some of its color, though it has faded from the original. The basket maker used a lot of narrow ash splints to create it. The handle on the top is intact. You will find very few cracked splints.A previous owner used this basket. At some point a white substance got spattered on the top. You will see evidence of this on the inside as well. You will also see a small patch of something on the inside bottom. Structurally this basket remains in very good condition.
This Basket measures 4.5" high with the lid on and 9.5" in diameter.
