Wapegnaki is a name for a Plains Indian Hair Ornament. These Hair Ornaments typically feature a strip of beadwork or quillwork with a length of hair coming from the bottom. They might also have feathers and tassels attached to them.
This Wapegnaki came from a collection. Some of the Quills are missing from the body of the piece. One of the narrow side drops is no longer there and the others have lost their feathers. Most of the Horse Hair is missing from the bottom. It will make an interesting addition to your collection!
Overall, the Wapegnaki measures 12"' long x 2.5" wide.
