Root Burl Club Blue Carved Handle

Native Americans sought out young birch trees to use their root ends to make spiky clubs. This club comes from a Natural Birch tree with a burl at the root. The crafter skillfully chip carved some foliage designs on the handle of this Root Burl Club. He or she also painted the handle slate blue. Then the crafter painted the points on the club red.
This club has a good heavy weight to it. You will appreciate the natural bend in the handle.  The hole in the handle has a piece of synthetic lacing through it. You can easily replace it with a piece of Leather Lacing.
The remains of the roots make a spiky end. Some of the bark remains near the roots. You will see some chips on the points of the club.
This Club measures 19" long and approx. 10" wide at the widest point across the top.
