Pipe Large Soapstone with Turtle Effigy

Add this large Turtle Effigy Soaptstone Pipe to your collection!  This very large pipe bowl measures 7.25" long x  4" wide at the wider end.  The base is nearly flat with a slight curve.  On the top, the crafter carved a Turtle Effigy.   The Turtle stands just over 1" tall, 4" long from head to tail and about 3" wide. You can see the scales, feet and facial features clearly.  The center of the Turtle's shell holds the bowl of the pipe.  An opening at the front allows you to smoke through it.  Because of the size of this Pipe, it is very heavy.
This Turtle Effigy Pipe is likely a reproduction of Platform Pipes that Native Americans used in the middle United States.
This Pipe is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks.  A previous owner used this Pipe, so you will see evidence of use.  You will also see a mark where someone attached a sticker.
