Add this beautiful Pottery with Daffodil signed by Darlene Smith to your collection!  The potter dipped the matte exterior in burnished brown slip.  On the inside, you will see a natural mineral colored light Blue semi-gloss glaze. The outside decoration features a sculpted daffodil surrounded by incised triangular shapes  done in a graffito “whittle” effect.  It measures 4.5″ tall x 4″ wide at the widest point.  The potter signed the bottom DLS with two crossed feathers.

Darlene Smith is known for her beautiful pottery, often associated with the Six Nations community in Canada. Her work typically features geometric designs and animal motifs, such as turtles, which are significant in Native American culture.
