This contemporary Talking Earth Pottery Spider Pot was made by Steve T. Smith (STS) in 1983. The piece is signed and dated by the Mohawk artist. The pot has a dark chocolate brown glaze that is shiny and a unique textured design of a spider and web on the front. This pot is in excellent shape with no chips, scratches or cracks. The pot stands 8" tall and 7" wide in the center. The opening and base measure 3" in diameter.Steve T. Smith and Talking Earth Pottery are known for pieces which usually include plants, animals or people in the design.
