Pack Basket Ash
Crafters from the native tribes of the Northeast originally made Ash Pack Baskets to carry items while hunting, fishing, traveling and foraging by foot or by canoe. This handmade this vintage basket is made with natural colored split ash and a double wrapped rim finish. The basket has some discoloration on the bottom and some breaks in the wrap on the rim but it is still in very good condition.
The opening of the basket measure 13″ x 9.5′ and stands 18″ tall.
