Deerhide Vintage Wood Burned

This vintage early 1900s deerhide is a piece of art!
The motifs feature a wood burned embossing technique. Not only is it elegant, the proportions as well are correct. In the center, there is a beautiful rendition of a man's profile. On the top right side there is a pine branch motif. On the bottom there is an Eastern Woodland Wigwam scene along a body of water. There is also a motif of a man in a canoe. On the top left side there is a display of a pipe.
A series of crow beads adorn the fringe. The condition of this piece is still preserved thanks to it being pinned to the wall for over 100 years, and the holes still visible where it was pinned.
This piece is 36" long, and the fringe is 8" long. It is 32" across at its longest point and 25" across at the lowest point.
