Add this Quilled Birchbark Box to your collection or use it as an attractive storage container! The crafter used natural Birchbark to make the sides. Then he bound each edge with strands of Sweetgrass. Bound Sweetgrass also serves as the loop closure. Black thread attaches the lid to the base. The crafter created a simple floral design on the lid with Red and Green Porcupine Quills. Additional designs in Natural, Green and Red Quills appear on the top and sides.This Quilled Birchbark Box is in very good condition. You will see one spot where the Sweetgrass has broken. The Box measures 4″ x 3″ and stands 1.75″ high with the lid on. Keep this box out of direct sunlight and away from water to preserve its color and integrity. One of a Kind!
