Beaded Moccasin Toe Flap
To make this Beaded Moccasin Toe Flap the crafter used mixed size seed beads to create lovely floral beadwork on brown velvet. Colors include Crystal, White Center Red, Turquoise, Translucent Teal, and White. The beadwork also features crystal tube beads. They bound the seams with reddish-brown velvet and added 10/0 white seed bead edging.This toe flap has been well loved. The velvet backing is a little worn and two holes have been punched into the top. The front of the flap and the binding have also faded due to light exposure. The stitching from the beadwork is visible on the reverse side (see photo.) However, the beadwork itself has held up over time and there is no bead loss. It is 4 1/4" long by 2 3/4" across at its widest point.
