Basket Split Ash Red Yellow

This medium sized Split Ash Basket features Red and Yellow vertical splints.  The basket maker used wide and narrow splints to create this basket.  You can still see the color on the vertical splints.

A previous owner used this Basket, but it remains in very good condition.  You will see that the top splint shows areas that look like it has been wet.  The bottom remains in good condition.  Overall the Basket is very clean and well cared for.

This Basket measures just 5″ tall.  The top opening measures 9″ in diameter.  The bottom measures about 6.5″ in diameter.
