Basket Birchbark Etched Container
Use this Birchbark Basket Etched Container for storage or add it to your collection. The artist etched leaves on the sides with some oval designs around the opening on the back of the birchbark while it was still green. A light coat of polyurethane gives it a bit of a shine. He or she used spruce root to hold it together. A piece of Deerskin Leather Lacing serves as a carrying handle and is still attached on one side.
The Container stands 5″ tall. The bottom measures 10.5″ x 5″. This Container came from a collection. It is in good condition. One of a Kind!
