Add this Vintage Ash & Sweetgrass Basket to your collection! The basket maker used Ash Splints with bands of Sweetgrass on the lid. He or she chose Spruce Green splints. Though the color has faded from the outside of the Basket, you can see it plainly on the inside and the bottom. The cover does not have a loop on the top.Aside from the faded color, this Basket remains in very good condition. You will find 3 pin holes in the bottom perhaps where someone attached something to hang the Basket for display.
This Basket measures 3.5" tall with the cover on. The cover measures 9.5" in diameter and 1.5" high. The opening of the Basket measures 8.5" in diameter.
