This traditional Backrest Pair No Tripods will create a comfortable place to relax when you are hanging out by your tipi or camping! Each Backrest comes with a hanging loop for you to attach it to your own tripod poles.  Thin willow branches make up the seat. The crafter  painted red and brown stripes on them.  One of them has faded more than the other.  He added beaded designs to the bottoms and edges of both hanging loops.  Hang the Backrest on your tripod poles with the Deerskin Leather loop at the top to sit on it. You can roll the Backrest up for storage. One of a Kind!

Craftsmen fashion handmade Backrests in traditional Plains Native American style.  They often use Willow tree wood, a flexible and durable material, that crafters have used for centuries in traditional crafts, including furniture and basketry.  Willow back rests are often found in traditional and rustic furniture designs, such as willow chairs or benches.

These Backrest Pair No Tripods are not exactly the same size.  They measure  50 – 51 inches long.  The tops measure 19.5 – 20 inches across and the bottoms measure 28.5 – 29 inches across. The hanging loops measure 8 -9 inches long.  They came from a collection, so you will see signs of wear.  We are selling these as a set of two.  One of a Kind!
