Don’t miss out on this unique Awl with Beaded Case. The crafter created the awl case out of rawhide and then wrapped it in Braintanned leather. They then wrapped the awl case in reproduction color Seed Beads. The colors are Blue, Mustard, Light Purple and Frosted. The crafter added a drop off the bottom using deerskin leather lacing with a brass cone measuring 4.5″. They made the Awl handle out of Deer Antler.
You can tie this to your belt using the two 3 inch long pieces of Deerskin Leather Lacing. The crafter strung these with round brass beads and Blue glass tubular beads. The Case measures 5.5″ long with a 1/2″ opening. The Awl has a 4.5″ long Antler handle and a .75″ long sharp steel tip. One of a Kind.
An antler awl is a traditional tool used by various cultures for piercing holes in materials like leather, wood, and fabric.
