Dolls Seminole Set of 3
Seminole dolls portray clothing and hairstyles worn by Seminole men and women. This Set of 3 vintage Seminoles Dolls were made with traditional Seminole materials. The crafters made the body with palmetto fibers and the outfits consists of a Cape, Traditional Hair and Skirt.
The newest doll was made circa 1970-1980. The clothing is decorated with rickrack on pink, ivory, turquoise and navy fabric. She also has a necklace made of yellow seed beads. The doll measures 5″ tall.
The remaining two dolls are a bit older made circa 1950s. The taller doll measures 5″ tall and has sequins and beads in her hair as well as an orange beaded necklace. The black thread has come loose around the head.
The smallest doll measures 4.25″ tall. The hair and skirt have a bit of fading from the sun. She has a multicolored bead necklace and dangling beaded earrings.
