Quilled Box Oval
This Oval Quilled Box features three dimensional quill work on the lid in a floral pattern. The crafter used red colored quills for the center. He or she covered the box and the lid with porcupine quilled designs. Then the crafter wrapped sweetgrass around the bottom of the lid AND around the top of the box. The crafter used natural Birchbark to create this box.You will see some of the Porcupine Quills have been lost from the red floral center on the lid. There is also apparent breakage on the bottom of the box. It shows some dust on the lid, but it remains in good condition.
Each box measures approx. 2.5" tall with the lid on. The bottom measures 3.25" x 2.25".
