Kachina Dolls Set

Add these colorful Kachina Dolls to your collection! These wooden Kachinas come from the 1970s when the artist(s) created them for the tourist trade.
The larger Kachina looks like the image of the Grandmother. The artist painted her in bright colors with an open cape. He or she added feathers to the top of the Kachina's head. This Kachina stands just over 4" tall. It shows some wear in the paint, but remains in good condition. SPRINGLE is written on the bottom in pencil.
We have not been able to identify the smaller Kachina. It stands 3.25" tall. Some of the paint has run, and you will see splotches of colored paint on the white sections. The feathers that adorned the head are missing.
The artist(s) painted these Kachinas with water-based paint, so you will want to be sure to keep them dry.
Kachinas are supernatural beings in the Pueblo Indian traditions. The Pueblo tribes create Kachina Dolls to give to children. Children use them to learn about the various Kachinas and not to play with.
We are selling these as a set. One of a Kind!
