Moccasins- Water Bird Design

Add these Fully Beaded Northern Plains Style Moccasins—Water Bird Design to your collection. The crafter chose a light blue background and beaded vibrant Water Bird and geometric designs on the vamps and sides using yellow, orange, navy blue, and red 8/0 pony beads. They constructed the moccasins from cream-colored deerskin leather and added durable double cowhide soles, stitched with imitation sinew (wax-coated nylon thread). They measure 11″ long by 4″ wide at the instep. While a few beads are missing, the moccasins still carry life, beauty, and cultural resonance.
