Southern Plains Style Leggins with Blue Lining

These Southern Plains Style Leggins feature colorful beadwork and a blue fabric lining on the side flaps.  The crafter made the Leggins with Cream Deerskin Leather.  The flaps on the side are 21" long with Beaded Tube Drops hanging from the ends.  The 2" long Tubes have stripes in White, Navy Blue, Periwinkle, Red, Orange, Yellow and Green Seed Beads.  They end in 2" long Deerskin Leather fringe. The crafter lined the flaps with a satiny blue fabric.   Along the edges of the flaps, he added edge beading with Transparent Blue Seed Beads.  He also added Beaded Stripes along the sides of the flaps in White, Yellow, Orange, Red and Green.
Graduated Deerskin Fringe  varying in length from 10" down to 2" long appears under the flaps.  More Beaded Stripes appear along the cuffs.  The bottom of the cuffs are cut into 1" long Fringe.  The Leggins measure 30" long overall.  The width varies from 12.5" wide at the top to 6.25" wide (measured lying flat) at the bottom.  The crafter added Leather tabs at the tops to attach them to a belt.
A previous owner wore these Leggins so you will see soiling and signs of wear.  They remain in good, wearable condition.  One of a Kind!
