Fan Child's Wing with Peyote Stitch Handle

Your young dancer will love carrying this colorful Feather fan!  The crafter made it with real Macaw Feathers and bright colored Fluff Feathers.  He added Braintanned Deerskin Leather patches to the tops of the Macaw Feathers with Orange Fluff bits extending from them.
Holding it all together is the Beaded Fan Handle.  The crafter used Peyote Stitch to create the Beadwork.  He started with Cut 11/0 Seed Beads in bright Yellow for the background.  He used Wine, Aqua, Cheyenne Pink, White, Black and other colors (many of them Cuts!) to create the geometric design. Lots of sparkle! At the bottom you will see a tab of Braintanned Deerskin Leather and 4" of Braintanned Deerskin Leather Fringe.  The crafter added a section of Beadwork and Edge Beading using more Cut Seed Beads.
This Child's Fan measures about 14.5" long overall, including the Fringe.  The Beaded Handle measures 4.5" long.  The longest feather measures 7" long.
This Fan came from a collection.  You will see minor insect damage on some of the feathers.  It is in good, usable condition or a bright addition to your Beadwork collection.
