Bag Beaded Southern Plains Style
Carry essentials in this Beaded Southern Plains Style Bag or add it to your collection! The crafter made it with Braintanned Deerskin Leather. On one side, he or she added a beaded border in Light Blue, Periwinkle, Yellow, Orange, Cobalt Blue and Red Cut Seed Beads. He or she attached five 1/2″ Nickel Spots to the middle. On the other side, the crafter attached a 3″ painted Medicine Wheel in Red & Yellow. Edge beading in Light Blue appears around the sides of the Bag.
On the bottom, the crafter added beaded drops made with 3.5″ long Plastic Hairpipe, 1″ Aluminum Cones, and multi-color faceted Plastic Beads. The drops measure 6.75″ long overall. The top of the Bag closes with a Braintanned Deerskin Leather Lacing drawstring.
This Bag measures 9.5″ long x 6.5″ wide. Including the drops it measures 16″ long. A previous owner used this Bag. You will see soiling and wear from previous use, but the Bag remains in usable condition. One of a Kind!
