Use this Antler Quirt with Quillwork at your next Powwow or display it in your home! The Antler handle features Brass Tacks and a Beaded Fabric Strap. The crafter decorated the Green and Blue Fabric with rows of Cut Turquoise and White Seed Beads. He added 1.5" drops with 1/2" and 3/4" long Tin Cones. A Bone Button holds the strap to the Antler. The crafter attached a 22″ long Strap Leather lash to the end. a 3" long piece of wrapped Quillwork covers the base of the Lash.Quirts are short riding whips found among people who herd cattle or sheep. They usually come with a braided leather lash. The crafter made this Quirt for a Powwow accessory, rather than a ranching tool. The Quirt measures 12″ long, not including the Strap Leather lash. The Beaded Strap measures 2″ wide x 18″ long. One of a Kind!
