This Antique Iroquois Beaded Purse will make a lovely addition to your collection! The crafter used mostly transparent Pony Beads, Seed Beads and Basket Beads to create the botanical design. He or she did the beadwork on a canvas like material. The lazy stitch layered design features Clear, Transparent Red and Transparent Pony Beads with Amber & Clear Basket Beads. Around the edges you will see Alabaster Basket Beads, and Clear Seed Beads. The design is the same on both sides.The crafter added a Red-Orange Ribbon around the outside edge and lined the purse with fabric. It once had a handle which is lost. The Beadwork remains intact.
This Antique Iroquois Purse measures about 4 3/8" x 4".
