Mohawk style Child’s Purse
We think this Antique Mohawk style purse comes from the early 1900s. The crafter did the beadwork on velveteen fabric. Then he or she lined the inside with cotton fabric and added a fabric edging.
This bag has been around and shows its age, but the beadwork remains nice to look at. You will see that some of the beads have come off. A skilled beadworker could replace the missing beads. If there was an original handle, it has come off.
This Purse measures 4″ long x 3.75″ at its widest point.
