Moccasins – Antique Spot Beaded

These Antique Moccasins feature a spot beaded design.  We believe the come from around 1920. The crafter used Braintanned Deerhide and stitched them together with cotton thread. He or she used Periwinkle Blue, Orange and Clear Red Seed Beads for the design. Rawhide soles cover the bottom.

A previous owner wore these moccasins, but they remain in collectible condition. You can see minor bead loss. You will also notice a couple places where the sole has separated from the upper and one spot where someone repaired a hole in the leather.

The lacing around the opening remains, but it is unlaced on the side of one of the moccasins.  The top flaps remain attached to the moccasins.

These moccasins measure nearly 10″ long x 3.25″ wide. They stand 3″ high at the cuff.
