Add this unusual hunting tool to your collection! This Antique Bola has three leather wrapped stone balls attached to a braided cord. The balls measure approximately 7″ in circumference. The bola measures about 37″ long overall. We got this item in a collection. You will see signs of wear. It remains in good condition.
Bolas are hunting tools traditionally used by South American gauchos. They have been found in pre-Columbian excavations in South America. Hunters throw them at the legs of their prey to trip them up or injure them. Sometimes they are used as weapons.
