Antique Traditional Ash Basket
This Antique Ash Basket is so beautiful, you will find it hard to believe that it was originally blue! The color has faded so much you can only see vestiges of it on the inside and on the bottom. Unlike many baskets of this kind, this one does not have a loop handle on the top. The basket maker created it with a slight bowing out in the middle, so the sides are not straight.This basket was used (or stored) by a previous owner but it remains in excellent condition. The splints remain tight and there are very few breaks or splits in the splints.
This Basket measures 5" high x 7.25" in diameter.
