Necklace – Northern Plains Loop Brown
This Northern Plains Loop Necklace is a reproduction of a 19th century Native American regalia accessory. Native Americans sometimes wore Northern Plains Loop Necklaces as an alternative to a Hairpipe Breastplate. Crow and Blackfeet Indians popularized Loop Necklaces like this one. They are very appropriate for any Traditional Northern Style Dance Regalia.
Master Craftsman Andy Bullock created this Northern Plains Loop Necklace with 2.5″ Horn Hairpipe. He strung them with Clear Yellow, Red, Blue and Clear Amber Crow Beads. Then he added two White Conch Shells and Dark Brown Deerskin Leather fringe.
This Northern Plains Loop Necklace measures 12″ wide excluding fringe.
