Necklace – Northern Plains Loop Blue
Master Craftsman Andy Bullock created this Northern Plains Loop Necklace as a reproduction of a 19th century Native American regalia accessory.
Native Americans of the Plains wore Loop Necklaces as an alternative to Hairpipe Breastplates. Crow and Blackfeet Indians popularized Loop Necklaces. They are very appropriate for any Traditional Northern Style Dance Regalia.
This Northern Plains Loop Necklace is made with 2″ Horn Hairpipe and Light Blue Crow Beads. He embellished his basic design with Brass beads, Clear Blue and White Center Red Crow Beads. Deerskin Leather Fringe adorns the edges.
This Northern Plains Loop Necklace is 12″ wide excluding the fringe.
