Leggins Set Navy Rainbow Selvedge Edge
Don’t miss this handmade and finished Leggins & Apron set. The crafter used Navy Wool with a Rainbow selvedge edge for all of the pieces. The crafter decorated the Apron Set with silk ribbon in two shades of Green and Brass Sequins topped with either Pink or White Seed Beads. Green bias tape serves for ties. The edges are trimmed with Maroon bias tape. The front Apron measures approximately 17″ x 15.5″. The back is longer at 38.5″ long x 15.5″ wide.
The Leggins measure 31″ long. At the top they measure 11″ wide (lying flat). The ankle opening measures 7″ wide, not including the side Flap. They measure 15″ at the widest point. The crafter used the Rainbow selvedge edge for the flaps. He added three double arm cross designs in White, Red and Royal Blue Seed Beads. A row of Brass Sequins topped with Pink Seed Beads appears along the selvedge edge.
A previous owner wore this Set. You will see some signs of wear on it. They remain in very good, wearable condition.
