Belt - Applique Beaded Red Rose on Green

This Pale Green background of this Beaded Belt tells of its age. We don't think you can get that color anymore!  The crafter used beaded applique to create the bold Red Rose design. She used Green for the leaves and a cut Pale Green for the veins in the leaves.  The crafter accentuated the Roses with Clear Cobalt Blue and Yellow Seed Beads.
The crafter attached the beaded panel to a piece of canvas. She used a solid Turquoise fabric on the back.  She attached leather tabs to the ends to hold the Deerskin Leather Lacing ties. The Belt has some flexibility because it is not attached to Strap Leather.
Use the Deerskin Leather Lacing to tie it or hang it up for display!
The Belt measures about 5" wide and 37" long.  You will see a little 'sway' on the long sides of the belt.  You will also notice a few beads that have broken off.
A previous owner used this Belt. It came from a collection from Towaoc Trading Post. The back of the belt shows staining on the fabric from being worn.  It remains in good condition.
