Women’s Leather Jacket Beaded Braintanned
This vintage Women’s Leather Jacket features colorful beadwork. The seamstress used Braintanned Deerskin Leather to make the jacket. Floral designs decorate the front and sleeves. The back has a woodland design with deer, mountains and trees. 2.5″ long leather fringe hangs from the bottom. The front, back and sleeves sport 3″ long leather fringe. Red rickrack adorns the collar and front patch pockets. We believe this jacket comes from the 1950s.
The jacket comes fully lined (the lining has detached from the cuff of left sleeve) with a metal zipper. You will see places where beads have come off. A previous owner wore this jacket, so you will also see evidence of wear.
This jacket is approximately a Women’s Medium. It measures 24″ long from the back neck to the bottom. The sleeves measure 21″ long and 5″ wide at the cuff. The shoulder measures 16″ across.
