Quilled Garters with Deer Dew Claws
Do not miss these Quilled Leg Garters! They are small, but exquisite! The crafter started with a row of Quillwork in Red, Black & Natural Porcupine Quills. He attached this strip to Cream colored Deerskin Leather. Then he used White Seed Beads to create a border around the Quillwork. To the bottom of each Garter, he attached drops made with Red, Black & White Seed Beads with a Deer Dew Claw hanging from the bottom. Deerskin Leather Lacing serves as ties. These are threaded through the back of the Garters and can be removed.These Garters measure just 5" long x 2.25" wide. The Quillwork itself measures 4.75" long x 3/8" wide. The Deerskin Leather Lacing measures 35" long and can be tied to fit. We got these Garters from a collection. A previous owner may have worn them. They are in very good, wearable condition. One of a Kind!
