Belt Buckle Brass with Quilled Insert
This Belt Buckle Brass with Quilled Insert is hefty and delicate at the same time! The crafter created the Quillwork insert by wrapping colored Porcupine Quills around Rawhide strips. He or she used Yellow, Red, Green, White and Purple colored Porcupine Quills to create a geometric design. Then the crafter inserted this piece of Quillwork into a heavy Brass Belt Buckle. On the back you will see "Solid Brass BTS Made in U.S.A."This Belt Buckle measures approximately 3.5″ x 2.25″. You will see some of the Quills have come off, exposing the Rawhide underneath. The Buckle remains in very usable condition.
