Mixed strands of Venetian Trade Chevron Melon Beads. These come in assorted colored Striped, Rainbow, Flat Glass Beads. Each strand comes with approximately 42 beads.Glass Chevron Beads are elegant layered beads. They usually come in Red, White and Blue, but can also come in other colors. Jewelers often use them to make necklaces. Beadmakers from Czechoslovakia first made Chevrons in the 16th century. Traders brought these layered beads to North America and Africa. The complexity of their manufacture makes them highly desirable. Craftsmen could not leave their factories in order to prevent them from sharing the technology.
