Time: Grand entry 12:00 pm both days
Details: All are welcome to attend The Rhode Island Indian Council’s annual gathering. Join us for a waterfront powwow at Oakland Beach in Warwick RI celebrating unity and culture. Enjoy native dancing, culture, vendors, community and the beautiful view of Greenwich Bay. Bring the family and a few chairs and enjoy the drum as we honor another year. Shawomet ( land originally covering Warwick, West Warwick and Coventry) has plenty of rich indigenous history and we enjoy celebrating in this historic location.
